Background
Born on December 15, 1968, in a impoverished community in Cape Town, South Africa, Dr. Revoune Van Reenen overcame incredible odds to become a distinguished professional speaker and minister. He discovered his passion for ministry at a young age and co-founded the Church, Children of God International (COGI) with his father, Apostle Walter James Van Reenen. He served as youth pastor under his dad for many years.

Dr. Revoune Van Reenen holds an MBA in Business and a PhD in Religion and Economics. He is the Founder and Chairman of the School of Spiritual Economics and serves as the Dean of the Dr. R. Van Reenen Bible University. He is the founder of the Dr R Van Reenen Ministries which includes Restitution centre for the underprivileged, prison ministries, Police outreach ministry

Dr. R Van Reenen Ministries’ vision is to reach the entire globe, training spiritual leaders to operate in excellence and integrity. We aim to make disciples, planting 500 Churches in the next 10 years, and extend our ministerial reach from Gauteng to the entire South Africa and globally.
We envision establishing 1000 Bible schools in all provinces of South Africa and abroad, and opening at least 3 fully functional Restitution Centres in the next 5 years, serving the underprivileged.
We believe the church can make a difference in society, economically and spiritually, and that it is the answer to the world’s problems in these chaotic times.
